This website contains online support links and information resources for cancer patients and their loved ones, organized by cancer type. Use these resources to gather information on cancer and to connect with other cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.
There is a wealth of information and support for cancer on the internet, but sometimes finding it can be difficult. While larger organizations like the National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society are fairly easy to locate through a simply internet search, other organizations and smaller online support groups (where you can post questions and chat with other cancer survivors and patients) can be difficult to find.
As an author of a recently released book on cancer survivors, I spent hours searching for these organizations and online support groups in order to locate participants to interview. This website is essentially a list of the most helpful of these resources.
In addition, there are sections on the basics of online support groups and a full directory of resources.
