The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
This web site is a great resource for leukemia. Start here to find detailed information on leukemia that includes the diagnosis & symptoms of the cancer, treatment options and clinical trial information. In addition, the Leukemia and Lymphoma society offers the following patient support services: there is an active online message board, telephone support, live online support (where you can type in questions online and have them answered instantly by an information specialist - this service is available during normal business hours), and a free program called "First Connection" that matches current patients and caregivers with others who have been through a similar situation.
