American Cancer Society's "Learn About Lung Cancer"
The American Cancer Society presents extremely detailed infomation on the topic of lung cancer, both for adults and children. Topics covered include overviews of the cancer, treatment options, statistics, and more. The information is also expressed in a way that is easy to read and understand. This is a great starting off point for learning about lung cancer.

This site is a great resource for patients and caregivers dealing with lung cancer. In addition, there are stories from other patients who have been through treatments, as well as information on clinical trials and links to other support resources.

Online Message Boards / Discussion Groups, Chat Rooms & Email List Groups / ListServs (what are these?)

Lung Cancer Support Community at LCHelp.org
This suppport community is one of the best I have seen. Their online bulletin board has sections on everything to do with lung cancer, and their chat room has frequently scheduled chats. The community is open to anyone dealing with lung cancer - patients, caregivers, survivors and anyone else. One of the best things about the community is how supportive, responsive and knowledgeable the members are. If you are dealing with lung cancer, make sure to visit this community!

The following email list groups are available at ACOR.org (click on a group to visit its web page):

These lists function like an email information and support group. You can also read archives of the discussions.
