Melanoma
Patients' Information Page
(MPIP)
This site is one of the best resources for melanoma patients and caregivers. In terms of information, the MPIP contains detailed guides to each stage of melanoma. There is also information on clinical trials and an online research library. Another great feature of the MPIP is their online message board, where you can post questions and interact with other survivors and current patients. This message board community is very active, supportive and knowledgeable. There is also a chat room where there are frequently scheduled chats. Lastly, the MPIP has a service called "PatNet" where patients can create and browse profiles of other patients and survivors. The goal of PatNet is to help match up patients who may have been in similar situations. For more information on PatNet, click here.
