NON-HODGKIN'S LYMPHOMA & BURKITT'S LYMPHOMA SUPPORT LINKS

Information Resources

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
This web site is a great resource for lymphomas (both Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's). Start here to find detailed information on non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that includes the diagnosis & symptoms of the cancer, treatment options and clinical trial information. In addition, the Leukemia and Lymphoma society offers the following patient support services: there is an active online message board, telephone support, live online support (where you can type in questions online and have them answered instantly by an information specialist - this service is available during normal business hours), and a free program called "First Connection" that matches current patients and caregivers with others who have been through a similar situation.
Burkitt's Lymphoma at Burkitts.org
This web site is the only online resource that deals with Burkitt's lymphoma (a rare type of lymphoma) exclusively. There is information on the disease, an extensive collection of survivor stories and an online message board. The online message board contains many participants who are very knowledgeable about this rare cancer and its treatment options. In addition, these participants can offer advice for finding specialist doctors who may know more about treating the disease successfully.
American Cancer Society's "Learn About Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma"
The American Cancer Society presents extremely detailed infomation on the topic of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Topics covered include overviews of the cancer, treatment options, statistics, and more. The information is also expressed in a way that is easy to read and understand. This is a great starting off point for learning about non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Lymphoma Information Network
Offers extensive information on non-Hodgkin's and Hodgkin's lymphoma. Also contains detailed links to further information sources.
US National Cancer Institute's Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Page
This site is a great gateway page to finding out more detailed information on non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Topics covered include treatment (along with a clinical trials search), literature, statistics and more.

Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Email List Group at ACOR.org
This email list group has over two hundred members and functions like an email information and support group. You can also read archives of the discussions.
Webmagic's Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Message Board
This fairly large online message board community is a great place for communicating with other patients, survivors and caregivers.
Lymphoma Support Group on MSN
Although smaller than Webmagic's board, this message board community is active, supportive and informative. Note that this message board deals with both non-Hodgkin's and Hodgkin's lymphoma. There is also a list of survivors who are willing to be contacted by current patients and caregivers, as well as a lot of other helpful resources.
