This is a great web site for prostate cancer patients and caregivers. There are sections on the diagnosis and symptoms of the cancer, treatment options, and help for the newly diagnosed. In addition, Us Too offers a number of support services (click here for a full list of these services), including a patient support telephone hotline and a directory of email list groups for patients and caregivers (click here for this directory).
American Cancer Society's "Learn About Prostate Cancer"
The American Cancer Society presents extremely detailed infomation on the topic of prostate cancer. Topics covered include overviews of the cancer, treatment options, statistics, and more. The information is also expressed in a way that is easy to read and understand. This is a great starting off point for learning about prostate cancer.
National Prostate Cancer Coalition
This organization provides information for prostate cancer patients and caregivers. On the web site, you'll find general information and treatment options for the disease.
